The series is introduced by Gordon Corrigan, author of Mud, Blood & Poppycock, so will presumably be pro Haig. I thought that he did a reasonable job given that he had less than 25 minutes after deducting ads & credits but I can't imagine many people from this web site learning anything new about Haig from such a short programme. He tried to explain Nelson's tactics at Trafalgar with the use of model ships & I could have done with more of that & less of actors in period costume walking along the deck of a ship.
