Guest Jakob Posted 3 October , 2005 Share Posted 3 October , 2005 Hi, I'm trying to find information on Infantry Regt. 113. Did the Bavarian Army have an IR 113 or not? I'm interested in learning where the regt. fought primarily, and its origins, as I haven't had too much luck with my own research so far. Thanks for any help, Jakob
Guest Jakob Posted 3 October , 2005 Share Posted 3 October , 2005 Hi Jacob, welcome to this forum ! The german Inf.Regt. 113 did not belong to the Bavarian Army. It was from HESSEN's contingent and therefore an unit of the Prussian Army. Question: Do you reaed German ? If you did, I could send you a lot of information about the german 29th Infantry Division which the Inf.Regt. 113 belonged to all time during WW1. Other point: I read that you are intersted in the history of german stormtroopers. bob lembke, a member of this forum, seems to be an expert for questions concerning this. So you should contact him. I've got the Chonicle of "Sturmbataillon Rohr" = "Sturmbataillon No. 5" If you are interested, please contact me off forum. Me email adress is: malte@pixel-partisan.de Best Malte <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi, Thanks. I can 'pick' through German to an extent. So I wouldn't mind the information you have and would be very greatful. Also, sent you an email for the chronicle, and thanks for that too. Jakob
AOK4 Posted 7 October , 2005 Share Posted 7 October , 2005 Hello, IR 113 was from Baden (Garrison Freiburg im Breisgau). Jan
