German Infantry Regiments

Hi,

I'm trying to find information on Infantry Regt. 113. Did the Bavarian Army have an IR 113 or not?

I'm interested in learning where the regt. fought primarily, and its origins, as I haven't had too much luck with my own research so far.

Hi Jacob, welcome to this forum !

The german Inf.Regt. 113 did not belong to the Bavarian Army. It was from HESSEN's contingent and therefore an unit of the Prussian Army.

Question:

Do you reaed German ?

If you did, I could send you a lot of information about the german 29th Infantry Division which the Inf.Regt. 113 belonged to all time during WW1.

Other point: I read that you are intersted in the history of german stormtroopers.
