I recently purchased a very nice WW1 Officers compass and carrying pouch.

On both items the name Lte M Macmillan is marked....... on the pouch...... 10 Camerons....... and on the compass Lovatt Scouts........

Any help on this man and why he has 2 units marked would be appreciated.Army lists maybe?

The name should read Macmullan...sorry! and of course the unit should read Lovat Scouts.
