Regulus 1 Posted 22 September , 2005 Share Posted 22 September , 2005 I found nothing that could point in that direction, the more that he barely flew in the last months of the war, he seems to have been satisfied with his Pour le Mérite, the command of JG1 and the friendship of the right persons in the right places such as the Kronprinz. Further more he walked around with the Geschwader stick and gave orders... That day Jasta 10 had a meeting with US 1st Pursuit Group, in which Lt Wilbert White of 147th Aero was killed in a collision or ramming of Lt Kohlbach's plane.
