Stebie9173 Posted 22 September , 2005 Share Posted 22 September , 2005 It's probably actually Class Z, meaning transferred to Class Z Reserve at the end of the war. It put the "enlisted for the Duration" soldiers into Reserve so that they could be recalled if the Armistice didn't hold. Everyone was stood down permanently in 1920, I believe. Steve.
