Guest annpa Posted 22 September , 2005 Share Posted 22 September , 2005 Hello all, Have been recommended to look at your site, as I'm getting nowhere fast trying to find my Grandmother's brother, James Kelly, who was wounded at the Dardanelles (lost both legs) and spent the rest of his life at Erskine House in Renfrewshire, dying in the 1950s. I've been doing not badly on the rest of my family history, but Uncle Jimmy is proving really elusive! Apart from Uncle Jimmy, my husband and I are very interested in World war I and have visited several battlefield and cemeteries on various holidays in France, so I am expecting to learn a lot on this site. Cheers Annpa
eve Posted 22 September , 2005 Share Posted 22 September , 2005 Hi I have been a member of this forum for a few months now and have found everyone really helpful and friendly. I'm sure that there will be someone out there who will be able to help you track down your Uncle Jimmy. Evelyn
