Looks like a group of Royal Artillery non-commissioned officers. The 139 in the background might be significant - possibly 139 Battery, 139 Brigade.

139 I think is the hut number. Looking at the ranks of the group I would hazard a guess as this being a group photo of the Battery senior NCO's, as all seem to be Sgt level exept the chap in the center seated who I thing is the battery Warrent officer or Battery Sgt Major.

From the lack of ribbons and the cross belts I would say 1914-1915 period.
