StAubyns Posted 18 September , 2005 Share Posted 18 September , 2005 Yesterday, I met someone I had not seen for about 10 years and George Hogg's name came up in the conversation. "Iv'e got his medal if it is of any interest to you" Wow, the medal is in front of me now and is not a medal but his Death Plaque. It has been lovingly polished and has had a hole drilled in the top so a chain could be attached to hang it on the wall, the back has been badly damaged by someone's attempt to glue it to something, but so what? I cannot describe my feelings having it my possesion.
