I'll be going through Liverpool Street sometime during the week, though I'm not yet sure when.

Happy to help if you can wait a few days.

Hello

Thanks. Im not sure if he will be mentioned as he died in later 1920 and it all depends when the memorial was erected

1922 - it was opened on 22nd june that year by Sir Henry Wilson. He was killed by Irish Republicans whilst returning to his home a couple of hours later. One of his killers had lost a leg at Ypres whilst serving during WW1.

Ian,

am still waiting for my friend to get back to me, I know he is busy with work at the moment and had only just got back from Poland when I went to see him the other day, I'll go and see him today again to see if he has found anything.

I finally got to Liverpool Street yesterday - there is a H Ward listed but the memorial does not specify regiments.
