Have on a look on PROCAT for normal RM records. There are other records such as diaries, papers etc at the RM museum and the Liddell archives at Leeds. Also the FAA museum has records concerned with the RND (RMLI Bttns).

I think the FAA museum may have some good casualty information if that's any help. Certainly they had sufficient detail to be able to tell me that one of my researchees had been fatally shot in the head.

Perhaps I was just lucky though

The registers of service for the Royal Marines are at Kew in ADM 159 and they run from 1884-enlisted by about 1920 , but details of service are still shown to end of service including WWII. The registers give DoB, description, NoK, ships and shore service, medals (not WW medals for some reason), campaigns and training. Attestation papers for discharged pre WWI RM are also at Kew, but after that at the FAA museum. PM me with details of what your looking for.
