Admin Michelle Young Posted 14 September , 2005 Admin Share Posted 14 September , 2005 Are any of you going over for the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Loos? Maybe see you there.
Terry Carter Posted 14 September , 2005 Share Posted 14 September , 2005 Hi Michelle I will be there with a couple of friends. I will be staying at Auchonvillers on the Somme, but will be driving up to Loos en Gohelle on the Sunday. I have been told there are two events taking place. Hopefully, I might try to get to the northern area of the battlefield where the 2nd Royal Warwicks took part and Pte Vickers won his Victoria Cross. armourersergeant Posted 14 September , 2005 Share Posted 14 September , 2005 I wish I was going but alas both funds and the time off work are major stumbling blocks. regards Arm

Admin Michelle Young Posted 14 September , 2005 Author Admin Share Posted 14 September , 2005 I'm hopefully going Thursday night, returning Sunday. If I don't make it, Wayne will be there. I just have to run the proposed child care plans past the boys. (And of course pay for it!)

Admin Michelle Young Posted 14 September , 2005 Author Admin Share Posted 14 September , 2005 No worries, that wig was actually a prop from my son Jacks school leavers play. Looked better on Wayne tho, with his beard and tache!
