Can anybody help with the location and activities of 10 Cheshires between June 1st 1918 and 23 June 1918 ?

Any help would be most gratefully received.

The Regimental History makes no particular mention of the 1oth, concentrating on the activities of 9/Cheshire. That said, 10/Cheshire must have been taking significant casualties as the History notes that on 19/6 it was temporarily absobed by 9/Cheshire.

Thanks for the look up John.

They were involved in and took heavy casualties during all 3 German Offensives since March 1918 hence the absorbtion into the 9th Battalion in June 1918

John

Thanks for that - the casualty dates correspond with actions the Battalion saw during the time. Interestingly though no casualties after 31/5/1918 which makes me wonder if they were moved out the line.....
