Guest shaw lad Posted 8 September , 2005 Share Posted 8 September , 2005 Can anyone help in finding details on my grandfather James Butterworth, born January 1895 and captured at Arrass, date unknown, finished up in a salt mine as a POW. I have a picture of him and his Batallion, taken at Aldershot in 1915.but i dont know which battalion (only the kings own) or is army number Alan Butterworth.
