Chief staff officer, Somaliland feild force 1902-03 or Asst quartermaster general for intelliegence Somaliland feild force. 1903-04 Both these posirtions were held by Forestier-Walker in that order and to me one seems to be a demotion? Does anyone have any good references to this expedition and if there may have been a reason for this apparant demotion, ie that the size of troops committed was increased and as such someone with more seniority was brought in as the troops increased. thanks in advance Arm.
