Visiting La Boiselle in Oct - never had the chance to see the location of the German trenches and Glory Hole

Is it privately owned or can one walk that area?

I'd be really interested to see your snaps from your visit ( he hinted ) especially any that were looking at poiziere from the eastern side of the village paralell to the main road.

Can you be a bit more specific about the location from where you wish the photos taken - I assume on the Contalmaison road

This site is indeed on private ground- but can be viewed from the fences surrounding it. If you want a closer look I suggest you pay a visit to the Mairie in Ovillers to get permission.

Further to your pm;

I wondered up and down the area, on Thurdsay, trying to locate the exact spot but with no joy. All views eem to be obscured by houses

If I were to send you a trench map, could you mark it for me? I will be back in the village in mid October
