Lt J M Tidmarch, No 47 TDS, RAF

Lt John Moriarty Tidmarch of No 47 Training Depot Station RAF at Doncaster, and formerly with the 12th Battalion, Duke of Wellington's Regiment, was killed while flying in Avro 504 B8692 on 3 September 1917. He was aged 25 and was from Lota, County Limerick. The other occupant of B8962, 2Lt George Bernard O'Flynn, aged 20 from Roath, Cardiff, Wales, was also killed in the accident.

Lt Tidmarch is buried in Limerick, Ireland.
