Had been acting as infantry (dismounted) since 21st, but was re-mounted as a 'flying reserve' around 24th. On 26th, Bde was in the line, under French command, on the Oise canal, SE of Montdidier - actually in the area near Evricourt, south of the Bois des Essarts.
