andrew wilbraham Posted 23 July , 2003 Share Posted 23 July , 2003 i am currently doing my dissertation for my history degree on the subject of padres who served in the great war. i intend to look at three different dinominations, how they reacted to the war etc.. i then want to go on and look at three case case studies of padres that fought during the conflict, lost their faith or died in the great war. any primary information on these topics would be very greatfully recieved. hopefully my thanks can be sent via the book if its publishable!!! Greenwoodman Posted 23 July , 2003 Share Posted 23 July , 2003 Andrew, have you approached the Museum of the Royal Army Chaplains Dept. I believe it is at Amport House near Andover, and has a new archivist, who was formerly at the Cheshires mueum?
