I have only found a few copies of it and they are more than a little on the pricey side. Is it worth the money? It didn't sell well at the time it came out, and I suspect it is actually a fairly rare book. It is years since I saw a copy. joseph Posted 29 August , 2005 Share Posted 29 August , 2005 Tag, This book is by Cecil Slack 4th East Yorkshire Regiment and was based on his diarys and letters during the great war. The diarys and letters along with newspaper articles are used for teaching history in East Yorkshire.
