Guest Fabrice Posted 21 August , 2005 Share Posted 21 August , 2005 I live in the lovely town Eernegem, nearby Ostend. I live on it's market-place and everytime i open the door, i get to see this weeping lady. She's our memorial for the victims of war. She has the looks of Mother Mary. Who else could be a better symbol for greef and a cry for peace? In the next few replies you'll see some detailed photographs and a translation of the original words written in the statue. Yours, Fabrice.
