Guest Waldowilliams Posted 15 August , 2005 Share Posted 15 August , 2005 My local Church is closing shortly as part of a re-organisation scheme. Before this happens I am trying to record details of all the personnel remembered on the WW1 Memorial in the Church. One of the fallen served in 96th Siege Battery RGA and died on 23rd July 1917 and is buried in Loos British Cemetery. Can anyone give me any information on this Battery please? shinglma Posted 15 August , 2005 Share Posted 15 August , 2005 I'll have a look at the war diary next time I'm at Kew (it should be later this week). According to the catalog one survives. What was the name of your man? Mike
Paul Reed Posted 16 August , 2005 Share Posted 16 August , 2005 I have a special interest in this unit; if you email me I should be able to provide some further information.
