Remembered Today:

Martin Middlebrook

Recommended Posts

Last week I was on a tour of Mons/Le Cateau and Waterloo with Middlebrook-Hodgson and I am sad to inform you that Martin has annouced that next year will be his very last one for conducting tours around battlefields.

I am sure everyone who has been on a tour with Martin, or who know him would like to wish him a very happy and comfortable retirement.

He does however have a new book out later this year of which we were priviliged to get to see a proof copy !!!

Guest Hill 60

Will Mike Hodgson carry on the business, or will the company completely fold?

My first tour of the battlefields was with the M&H tour, and I always remember that specific trip to the Somme as one of reflection, sometimes sadness and of a mega-hangover!

I had heard this might be the case, but Mike Hodgson has every intention of continuing the tours. I often hear very positive things about these tours, so am sure he will continue with what Martin has established.

Yes Mike did say that he would be continuing with the tours although the company name may change.

A hangover on the Somme, now theres an unusual event
