eve Posted 12 August , 2005 Share Posted 12 August , 2005 I am looking for information on William Hayton. Although he is on the local Roll of Honour he is not mentioned in the Book of Remembrance. He died in Janury 1919 and is buried locally. His cause of death is given as cerebro-spinal fever - 3days. Any ideas on what could have caused this illness - am I right in assuming that it must have been a direct result of injury Evelyn
Doug Lewis Posted 12 August , 2005 Share Posted 12 August , 2005 eve cerebro-spinal fever - we would be more likely to say a bacterial meningitis today. Regards Doug
