Dolphin Posted 10 August , 2005 Share Posted 10 August , 2005 7624 was an FE 8 built under licence by Vickers Ltd at Weybridge. On 9 November 1916 it was flown by Capt T Mapplebeck, of No 40 Sqn RFC, on an Offensive Patrol over La Bassée when it was hit by anti-aircraft fire and forced to land behind the German Lines.
