CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME. AM TRYING TO FIND INFORMATION ABOUT USE OF TANKS AT BATTLE OF MORVAL SEPT 25th 1916. ESPECIALY NO 2 SEC D COMPANY. TANK D7 . NO742 MY WIFES GRANDFATHER WAS A CPL IN THE TANKS AT THIS BATTLE AND WAS WOUNDED WHEN HIS TANK WAS HIT. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

HIS DIARY WHICH WE HAVE GIVEN TO THE TANK MUSEUM SAYS THAT HE WAS WOUNDED ON THE 25th SEPT AT APROX 1400HRS

Thanks for your help.The somme day by day only mentions two tanks in action on 25th and neither of these was hit.
