I'd be grateful if someone could tell me the dispostion of, and any actions involving the 1st Bn. Royal Fusiliers on and around 05/11/1914. Seems to be after "The Battle of Armentières" ( official dates, 13th October - 2nd November 1914).

Casualty KIA on this day.

Thanks,

Chris.

According to O'Neil's History, the 1st Bn were in the area of Fleurbaix/Rue Petillon. The 5th November is mentioned as there were 20 casualties this day due to persistant shelling (a feature of the preceding days also).
