Guest ARTOISBATTLES Posted 31 July , 2005 Share Posted 31 July , 2005 Loocking for informations about Royal Guernsey Light Infantry. Battle places and battle honour. In which division and brigade this regiment fought. Total number of casuallties. Does a memorial of this unit exist somewhere in France? Thanks

BatterySergeantMajor Posted 31 July , 2005 Share Posted 31 July , 2005 They were at one moment part of 16th Irish Division, but I think it was only a company. The unit is mentionned in Terence Denman's "Ireland Unknown Soldiers", a recent (1991) divisional history which is somewhat different from other divisional histories.
