I am trying to find out some more on how Captain Richardson met his death, He was Killed In action on 29/7/1916 with 29 squadron. But I cant find any more on him, cany anyone shed some light on his death or perhapd earlier career. All assistance appreciated

Capt D B Richardson was killed in an accident while flying FE 8 6380 on 29 July 1916.

Hi I had him in my book as Killed in action ?

Airmen Died indicates that he was killed while flying, ie in an accident, and he isn't listed in The Sky Their Battlefield which covers the RFC/RNAS/RAF/AFC combat losses. Perhaps he was killed in action, but not directly by the enemy.
