sean finnis Posted 30 July , 2005 Share Posted 30 July , 2005 Hi to all, Stab in the dark this one, but wondered if anyone knows of any soldiers with the surname "Worrall" who served with the 7th Bedfords? Cheers, Sean.

Raster Scanning Posted 30 July , 2005 Share Posted 30 July , 2005 Hi Sean I have a large database of men who served in the 7th Beds. I have compiled it from many sources including MRI, Absent Voters, newspapers, both available versions of the war diary and personal diaries of serving men. Sorry to say I can find no record of a Worrall. Not to say there was not one, just I have no record of him. There are a few possibilities on the MRI but the battalion is not given, I guess the only way is to check them all at Kew. Do you have any more info at all? sean finnis Posted 30 July , 2005 Author Share Posted 30 July , 2005 Thanks mate, all i have is a photograph of a Bedfordshire soldier, complete with white lanyard around left shoulder who im told is a "Worrall" relation, i have no other info! He probably would have come from the Harpenden area? Best wishes, Sean.

Thanks anyway, Best wishes, Sean.
