Greetings all. Can anyone provide me with some biographical details about Brigadier General H.E. Street, who served in the 29th Division at Gallipoli as Hunter-Weston's chief of staff? Christian name, age, military background, date of death?

Brig. General Harold Edward Street, CMG. RA

Born on 24 Dec 75 the son of J E Street of Caterham

Educated at Marlborough College from Jan 1890 to July 1893

Commissioned as 2nd Lieut, RA in 1895

Served in South African War 1899-1902 (Mentioned in Despatches)

Brig. Gen., Gen. Staff, VIII Corps, Gallipoli, 24 May 15 to 7 Feb 16

Brig. Gen., Gen. Staff, IX Corps, Egypt and France , 8 Feb 16 to his death

CMG, MID

Killed in action at Hill 60, Ypres on 25 Aug 17.
