Dave Phillips Posted 27 July , 2005 Share Posted 27 July , 2005 Steve Not much on SDGW. Bysouth brothers both Enlisted Bedford; Resident Luton. Only 7 Bysouths in Soldiers section and no officers. Thomas Felkes (with an 'e') and Sidney Felks (without an 'e') 33600 (note '6') both Born, Enlisted and Resident in Luton. Only one Felkes and one Felks listed in both sections. William and John Hipgrave both Born in Hatfield, Herts; Enlisted and Resident in Hertford. Frederick also Born in Hatfield, Herts; Enlisted and Resident in Hertford. John only shown as serving with 2nd Beds. Only 9 Hipgraves listed in both sections. Dave
steve fuller Posted 28 July , 2005 Author Share Posted 28 July , 2005 Thanks Dave Sidney Felks in on CWGC as 33000, suppose its a simple typo? Happens I suppose!! All useful info as it confirms a Census check is worthwhile, so many thanks to you! Steve
