Whilst reserching a Retford man i came across John (Jack) Sutton 1st Classs Stker who died on 27/11/1918. ON CWGC his unit is described as P 67 any ideas please?

A P Class patrol boat - coastal defence, anti-submarine etc.

His service papers should have the name of the depot ship from which it operated, with the boat's name alongside in brackets. Given date and location I assume he died of influenza.

Thanks richard. He is buried locally in retford Cemetery so I think you are possibly right about cause of death
