Graham Stewart Posted 26 July , 2005 Share Posted 26 July , 2005 Bernard 1st Infantry Labour Company, Kings(Liverpool)Regt were transferred to the Labour Corps in 1917 as the 66th Labour Company, Labour Corps. The Kings had no fewer than 27 Infantry Labour Company's attached and administered by the Regiment and all were transferred to the Labour Corps in 1917, being reconstitued as the 66th to 92nd Labour Company's, Labour Corps. As new units of the Labour Corps they were also issued with new blocks of regimental numbers of which I have a full list. Infact I have the full list of all the Infantry Labour Companys and Infantry Works Company's that were transferred to the Labour Corps in 1917 and all of the new regimental numbers allocated to them. Regards, Graham.
