sean finnis Posted 25 July , 2005 Share Posted 25 July , 2005 Hello to all, Am seeking any information regarding the 8th Bedfords between Sept 1915 and Feb 1918. My Great uncle 17294 Private Henry Worrall served with this battalion during this time. He was posted to the 1st Bedfords upon the disbandment of the 8th. He died of wounds recieved during the 1918 Battle of the Lys on 28th April, being buried at Aire. Henry came from Harpenden, Herts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
