Guest softcoats Posted 22 July , 2005 Share Posted 22 July , 2005 I am trying to find my grandfathers details The only information I have is : He was a Trawl Fisherman 1st Class RNVR 27779 around 1914 His Son from his 1st marriage died 1.10.1918 on this Death Certificate his father appears to have been away on a minesweeper as the death was registered by an Attendant The place of death is listed as "Institution Larbert Naval Residence " Can anyone help with this as I am trying to find out about some of the boats/ships he may have served on also trying to find where/when he was born I cannot find him on the 1901 census in either England or Scotland but I do know that he died in Aberdeen 1944 aged 66 Jean Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
