BULLDOGFOGG Posted 8 July , 2005 Author Share Posted 8 July , 2005 Sorry i should have elaborated, they are Cheshire boys, ive checked CWGC and the local war memorials and found nothing so i can only imagine either they did not serve or they survived. I would find it amazing if they did not serve as all their cousins served in the Cheshire regiments ! Kev Where is Middlewich? Go to cwgc.org and see if they died... john w. Posted 8 July , 2005 Share Posted 8 July , 2005 A trip to the NAtional Records Office in kew would lead you to the attestation papers. Medal Index cards which are now online, but do cost... may help You main library should have the latest records of the birth, marriages and deaths.. you can check for the latter and that would indicate survival.
