noe Posted 11 July , 2003 Share Posted 11 July , 2003 Does any one know if there's any way I can track down my grandfathers orional war medals(one of them a DCM). They was pawned by my uncle when he was a boy(20 od years ago). I thought maybe a collector may have them in his collection or something ? Ski Posted 11 July , 2003 Share Posted 11 July , 2003 Noe, "Medal News", a publiction by Token publishing, runs a section in their magazine called "Medal Tracker", where for a small fee(£5, i think) to non-subscribers you can advertise for the missing medals. It has been successful in the past and its always worth a try. I believe that they now also run a digital Medal Tracker on the web, where for a slightly larger fee (£10, i think!) the advestisement is permanent. Try www.tokenpublishing.co.uk, Like i said, it's worth a try!!

Stuart Brown Posted 11 July , 2003 Share Posted 11 July , 2003 In the database section of Medalcollector you can advertise for free for a relative's medal or a particular one you are looking for. On the links page of that site is also Medalfind where you can advertise for a fee ($1 for 12 months ). Stuart
