David Adlington's MIC entry shows this follwing units:

Medal card of Adlington, David

Corps Regiment No Rank

Reserve Regiment of Cavalry 6836

Machine Gun Corps Cavalry 41857 Private

His CWGC entry is:

Regiment: Machine Gun Corps (Cavalry)

Unit Text: 5th Sqdn.

Date of Death: 31/03/1918

Additional information: Son of Mr. D. Adlington, of I, Abbey Terrace, Christ Church Rd., Merton, London.

Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead

I can't find a mention of the 12th Hussars on the main GW site, and the SDGW calls it the 12th Lancers. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris.
