I've just taken a look in The Annals of the King's Royal Rifle Corps Volume V ("The Great War") by Maj.Gen.Sir Steuart Hare, which is basically the basic "regimental history" of this regiment (I take it you meant Corps rather than Regiment?)

I'm afraid there's no mention for the 18th Bn for either of these two dates.
