i have just bought+read a nice book called,ww1 letters from the front and news of local soldiers, all the info was taken from the driffield times from the start of the war till the end,it contains letters, news articles, obits, roll of honour,POWs list, and a whole lot more, its packed with tons of info on men from scores of different units, regts etc, theres about 150 pages packed with info, and its only 6.99,its one of the best reads that i have had for a long time, its nicely ring bound, this is the address if anyones interested,or just go on e.bay and type in east yorkshire letters and read the description for yourself,it really is a good buy, bernard.
