J T Gray Posted 29 June , 2005 Share Posted 29 June , 2005 If this is in the wrong place please shift it for me, nice moderator people. Not sure where else to put it! Given that my Grandfather was almost certainly captured when the 11th Bn Essex regiment felt the full force of Operation Michael on March 21/22 1918 I am interested in buying a copy of the official history, as published by the IWM, which I am told refers to the 11th several times. If I buy it via Amazon, Baker's Pals benefit to the tune of £1.75 (I think...). Now if we all did that.... However they state an availability of 4-6 weeks; the only time I have tried to buy a book with a wait like this they were obviously not interested and several months later I bought the book by other means. Has anyone else bought IWM books from Amazon? Can you give me any feedback on the time it took? Adrian
Max Posted 29 June , 2005 Share Posted 29 June , 2005 Try Tom Morgan (on this forum), I think he may well have one immediately available. Andy
