MelPack Posted 9 July , 2003 Share Posted 9 July , 2003 I would really appreciate if anybody could identify the Cavalry/Yeomanry Regiment from the deatils of the photograph. My second posting is a close up of the cap badge. Regards Mel

Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 9 July , 2003 Share Posted 9 July , 2003 My money is on the 12th Lancers. Ian
Staffsyeoman Posted 9 July , 2003 Share Posted 9 July , 2003 Yup, I'll concur with Ian. If that's a Prince of Wales' feathers in centre (and I think it is) and not Queen Victoria's monogram VRI merged together, then it's 12th Lancers for sure. If the latter, it's the 21st Lancers. But 12th is my bet.
Martin B Posted 10 July , 2003 Share Posted 10 July , 2003 This is definately the 12th (Prince Of Wales's Own Royal) Lancers. And a very fine study it is too ...
Ciaran Byrne Posted 12 July , 2003 Share Posted 12 July , 2003 What a photo! Very impressed. Don't suppose it is for sale?
