Guest dwp13 Posted 24 June , 2005 Share Posted 24 June , 2005 About how many men were in the Canadian Corps' four divisions at the time they moved south to Amiens in Aug. 1918? Does about 100,000 sound about right? Thanks in advance
jhill Posted 25 June , 2005 Share Posted 25 June , 2005 That seems about right. The numbers I have are thus: Aug 3, 1918 Feeding Strength of the Canadian Corps:- British 91660 Horses, H.D. 2044 Horses, L.D. 19030 Mules 180 Incidently, total ration strength of the Canadian Contingent in France and Flanders on July 27 was 161162, all ranks. Of course they were not all with the Canadian Corps.
