As some of you will know, from my numerous postings and from the amount of help you have all given (a big thank you) I am looking into the movements of the 2/6th South Staffordshires.

I have finally found a picture of Ecoust St Main which was the scene of the battailion being reduced by POW in the German offensive of 21st March 1918.

The picture is as follows:-

is that pic from 20yrs and after?

If so which page and then i can look at it closer, cos i'm nosey like that,

Hi,

got it thanks, just looking at it now,

my friends and i like then and now shots and will be doing some during next weeks holiday,

I might put this to them for next year!

The most modern should be called the "Purr of the motorcycles" to fit in with the motif (If I am reading the captions correctly)
