There's quite a lot 'out there' about the Derbyshire Yeomanry, and also through 'search' on the Long, Long Trail. As Bob's already pointed out, they were in Macedonia. October 1918. Melekli was reached on the 24th..... and after passing through Gumuldzina.. bivouc was made at Karagac on the 25th... After two more days' marching Dedeagatch was reached . In the roll of killed or died "RSM Simpson" is listed as Died but no date. The list is in date order and he appears between 8/7/18 and 20/9/18.
