What a mediaeval dream it is, with a great market - though tough parking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes of course, that is not so far from home. Twenty years ago I gave a very detailed visit of the cathedrale to a group very fond of middle age history. Big work for few hours... but intersting. the oldest walls near the Cathedale or fom the roman empire. Rich story... http://www.ville-senlis.fr/ also linked to WW1: http://www.greatwardifferent.com/Great_War...enlis%20002.jpg http://perso.wanadoo.fr/daniel.duval/images5/guerre04.jpg The mayor of the town was executed by the germans in sept 1914 during the few days they were in the town... If you can fly over the city it is really . . A great souvenir Best regards
