paul guthrie Posted 21 June , 2005 Share Posted 21 June , 2005 Another worthy appeal in the June 2005 WFA Bulletin by my friend Derek Bird. This was presented to the village by the 51st Division September 1924 along with a Scottish Standard and the village agreed to fly it each November 13 to commemorate the liberation of the village. The flagstaff will be replaced at a cost of 5000 pounds and the flying of the standard will resume. There will be a dedication November 13 2006.
