Thomas Hendley was my grandmothers brother. I have just started to research him. He was born in 1893 in St Lukes Middlesex. This very damaged photo is all I have to try and trace his military history. Any help in identifying his unit would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ann Lawspost-7320-1119188045.jpg

Looks like artillery; impossible to say whether Horse, Field or Garrison. The photo is also taken in 1918-19, as he has overseas chevrons on his right cuff. It looks like three, which probably means he went overseas in 1916.

Ann

This could be his campaign medal index card (click on the link) which shows someone of his name in the Royal Garrison Artillery.

Thanks for spotting the chevrons, I do appreciate the help.
