Guest geoff501 Posted 18 June , 2005 Share Posted 18 June , 2005 I Have found a MIC for Lt. Frederick Walduck MC RFA. There is a date written on it, 19.4.21 but I cannot decipher the other text in this line. What does it mean? Was he discharged or died? Looks like he survived the war in any caes. HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 18 June , 2005 Share Posted 18 June , 2005 the Date is the issue date of his Award{s},the Code preceding & after the date are the Medal Roll Page references the MiC alludes to;
Terry_Reeves Posted 18 June , 2005 Share Posted 18 June , 2005 It appears there was an amendement to his entry for the star as there was an authority given for it (see line next to " reason"). I have a feeling that Lt was put on the star instead of 2nd Lt as his seniority date for his highest rank was 1 June 1916. Terry Reeves
