leigh Posted 14 June , 2005 Share Posted 14 June , 2005 HI all, I have found reference to a man burried in a grave in a cemetery in Ballymote, Ireland. His name is William Perrott. His headstone shows he Died July 19th 1916. Also that he had a son who died in June 13th 1944 and one Died May 1st, 1986. I am thinking that if a man has a son who died in 1986 (perhaps 70 or 80 years old) then the father could have been GW casualty. I can find nothing on CWGC. Not checked SDGW This might just be a coincidence. Can anyone help with suggestions of places I may look to get Irish genealogical information/etc to discover who this man was and how he died? Or access to the Irish memorial register? Many regards Leigh
museumtom Posted 14 June , 2005 Share Posted 14 June , 2005 There are no Perrotts from sligo in SDGW or Irelands Memorial records.
